Client Checklist
Make your session perfect by following these steps!
*Get plenty of Sleep
When we skip out on a good night's rest we cheat ourselves out of a great mood the next day. To look and feel our best we have to rest! This is especially true for children. If everyone goes to bed early the night before your session, everyone should be in a great mood during your session!
*Drink lots of Water
Drinking a lot of water is healthy for you and for your skin. The more water you can drink, the week before your session, the better your skin will look! Everyone is beautiful, especially when they're healthy!

*Try on your Outfit
Showing up to a session in an outfit that doesn't fit, can make you not only feel uncomfortable, but look uncomfortable as well. Trying on your outfit a week before your session will give you enough time to tweak it as you need to.
*Be prepared for Changes
Outside, seasonal sessions can be affected by many things; weather, illness, etc. Talk to your photographer about how to work around them. Keep checking the weather and communicate on when the days look the best. If someone taking part in the session becomes ill, let everyone know as soon as possible so your session can be rescheduled. Remember, illness can last for a few days. If you don't feel well, it will show in your images.

*Pack a Touch Up Bag
Bring a small cosmetic bag with a few things like; bobby pins, make up products, tissues, a hair brush / comb, tide to go, etc. The travel section in Target has a lot of things that would be handy in this bag. The Dollar Store has many items as well.
*Remember to Eat
Both children and adults alike can get grumpy if they haven't eaten enough. Have a light dinner the night before your session, a simple breakfast, and don't forget to bring snacks! Often just a nibble on a granola bar, before your session, can help lift everyone's mood.
*Be completely Ready
Have your things ready and in the car at least 2 hours before your session. Just like trying on your outfit in advance, having everything ready to go will give you time to make changes if you need to. Showing up, know you're unprepared, is not a good way to start a session. Stress shows in pictures, avoid it by being ready
*Relax
Photography sessions are fun, so let go of the stress. Take a deep breath and remember, this is something you want to do and you will be so happy you did. Take some time for you during the days leading up to your session. Have your nails done, go to a spa, or take a long bath. The better you feel, the better you will look in photos.
